We are pleased to highlight Hoffman Cortes Contracting Company project superintendent Leon Beck as a valued member of the team. Clients tell us that Leon is a highly attentive relationship and project manager, doing whatever it takes to meet their needs. Leon joined Hoffman Cortes Contracting in 2000 as a carpenter. He moved steadily up the ranks at our company and now, as a project superintendent, has as his principal responsibility to manage building schedules and budgets. However, his clients say they really appreciate how Leon watches out for them and the often unique challenges found only on their project. His past work includes the Botwin Building in the Waldo neighborhood of Kansas City. This project, new construction following a devastating fire, required Leon to manage special artistic and environmental elements while operating with sensitivity to the neighborhood on a site with limited space for staging. Another example is the Leawood Family Care Center at 113th & Ash for which he shortened the construction schedule by a month to meet the pressing need for the physician practice to occupy the space. Leon is currently assigned to the Johnson County Developmental Supports project, slated to begin this fall.
